REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:
Shorts without open pockets or metallic parts
Optional: Rash guard or tight T-Shirt; headgear; knee pads or soft orthopedic support. NO SHOES or CAMIES
RULES:
Weight Classes: 135, 145, 155, 170, 185, 205 and heavy weight = over 206)
No intentional slamming or spiking to the head
No slamming to escape submission
No heel hooks or twisting leg locks
No neck cranks
No small joint manipulation
Submission must be executed with slow applied pressure and not “cranked”

SCORING:
Initial Ground Control: (3 seconds of control required)
2 points -Takedown & Throws
2 points – any other method of establishing top
Ground Control: (3 seconds of control required)
4 points – Back Mount
3 points – Mount
2 points – Side Control
Attempted submission: (3 seconds of control required)
1 point – High percentage submission attempt with opponent in danger of being submitted.
Push Out: 1 point – Either fleeing the mat or pushed out. (Both feet exit the mat while standing)
