Referees
Referees are the most important officials for the USFL. They give instructions to both challengers before the bout and are in the cage closely monitoring the fight activity. They hold the authority to start and stop a contest and determine when a foul is intentional or accidental, and determine point reductions for inappropriate actions.
Referee Training Information

First Year Referees and those between years for Background or SafeSport/ Abuse Prevention Systems must complete the two online Training Sessions below. Review materials and both videos prior to taking these two online Training / Exam sessions.

- WATCH BOTH THE REFEREE & JUDGE TRAINING VIDEOS FROM START TO FINISH (BELOW)
- ONLINE REFEREE TRAINING (Use access code – USFL) Click through on all logical answers
- ONLINE JUDGES EXAM (Use access code – USFL) This is an actual exam. Take as many times as necessary to obtain a minimum score of 90% or greater. NOTE: Referees also serve as Judges.
